Girls Go CyberStart – Signup and Phase I (Assess)

Gov. David Y. Ige announced on February 20, 2019, the state’s participation in the Girls Go CyberStart Initiative, which encourages young women to explore the cybersecurity and computer science fields. The initiative gives girls, grades 9-12, the opportunity to solve challenges presented in the 2019 Girls Go CyberStart program, sponsored by the SANS Institute and the State of Hawaiʻi.

Here are the steps to participate:

• Sign up by April 11 HERE

• Play CyberStart Assess (Phase I) and complete by April 12 to qualify

• Play CyberStart Compete (Phase II) April 22 – June 28 for a chance to win cash prizes and scholarships for college
