US Department of Homeland Security Guidance – Securing Your Home Network

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) US-CERT recently released revised guidance on securing networks at home.  In addition to previous guidance that recommended updating software, using complex passwords and scrutinizing all links as potentially being malicious, the revised guidance includes advise on using firewalls and router security.
