eSentinel Cybersecurity Competition – North America Open

eSentinel is a “King of the Hill” style assessment and defense cyber competition where the goal is to capture and defend as many resources as you can. This online game, which is scheduled for August 15,  starts with a series of virtual targets – each with an identified scored service running on it. Competing teams must penetrate targets, mark the scored service with the team’s token, and then hang onto captured targets as long as possible. Teams with the high point total at the end of the event win.  The competition is free, open to students of any 2 or 4 year institution, and hosted by the Center for Infrastructure Assurance and Security of University of Texas San Antonio.
