AFCEA Hawaii K-12 STEM Grants ($35,000)

The Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Assn Hawaii (AFCEA Hawaii) recognizes the importance of encouraging students to pursue Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) careers, and the critical role of teachers in their success. To empower Hawaii’s educators in their drive for STEM innovation and instruction, the AFCEA Hawaii Chapter is pleased to offer two STEM grants of $5,000 each that will recognize outstanding K-8 teachers in engaging Hawaii students in critical and creative thinking, and personal broad scope and sustainability beyond the application of their project/program. AFCEA Hawaii is also offering 20-30 individual STEM grants for K-12 programs ranging from $200.00 – $2,000.00 per grant for the 2020-2021 school year underway. All STEM Grants must be used for the purpose of STEM learning and directly benefit Hawaii Students.
