Lost Document Replacement
During a disaster, emergency management officials could direct your family to evacuate your residence quickly to avoid the impending threat. These important documents should be organized and already a part of your “Go Kit”. If not, you may have to leave these documents as you rush to leave your home.
After a disaster, replacing lost or possibly stolen documents often presents a challenge for individuals and/or their families.
The following is a list of contact information for lost or stolen document replacement.
- All of the organizations listed below offer online resources. If personal computers aren’t available, public libraries and other agencies may have computers available to the public.
- There will be associated costs for the reissuing of some of the documents listed.
- Organizations listed could change their website links.
